No one can say Hilary Duff doesn’t look like one amazing mumma!

The Duffster tweeted a picture of showing her little baby Luca the beach on a beautiful summers day, summing it up with a caption that simply read “Paradise”

So sweet!

Tom and Katie Split!

Image

And it’s ovah!!!

After five years of marriage that sparked Scientology controversy (rumors spread that the Scientology church hand picked Katie Holmes to help turnaround Tom Cruise’s life and career) Katie and Tom have dropped a big divorce bombshell!

A representative for Kate Holmes announced the split, saying: “This is a personal and private matter for Katie and her family. Katie’s primary concern remains, as it always has been, her daughter’s best interest.”

Katie is apparently after sole custody of baby Suri to ensure she doesn’t grow up in the Scientology ways…

Top 30 Glee Performances!

With over 300 different songs from all different ranges, styles and voices, it’s hard to choose just 30 songs that I personally reckon are Glee’s best performances. I realise it is all down to taste, and this is just my personal list, but I have based them off all the best songs, best film clips and best performances throughout 3 seasons and this is what my list has boiled down to – I hope you like it!

30. Anything Goes/ Anything You Can Do

Performed by the Glee Project winner Lindsay Pearce, this little toe tapping ditty was performed in Season 3’s “The Purple Piano Project”. Not only is Lindsay a great singer, her mash up of the classic songs had her singing “Yes I CAN” with real passion, making you believe that she actually does think she is a better singer than you!

29. Tell Me Something Good

It’s Will Schuester like you’ve never seen him before! Will puts on his sexy hat when he performs this song to Sue Slyvester in the episode “Funk” to try and outfunk her and it definitely works! Complete with booty shaking and in-your-face singing, you gotta love the way Will handles the enemy!

28. Run The World (Girls!)

Brittany performs this Beyonce number during the episode “Asian F” along with Santana and the other girls in the school to try and focus their votes for student council president. Beyonce has always been an advocate for the girls, so if a nominee were to sing this song for my votes I would definitely pay attention to the strong words! The only bad thing is that Brittany’s outfit is appropriate to the film clip but doesn’t seem to sit straight amongst the other Cheerios…

27. Survivor/I Will Survive

This mash up is performed by the Troubletone girls in the episode “Hold onto Sixteen” where they luck out at regionals to the New Directions. It’s a powerful number and the girls nail it, but the girl on girl salsa dancing looked a little out of place.

26. Stronger

Artie’s rendition of Britney’s hit Stronger was packed full of strength and punch in the episode “Britney/Brittany” as he showed the football team what a handicap-able kid can do! Artie has always had a strong male voice so it was awesome to see him tackle a Britney Spears song and do it so well!

25. La Isla Bonita

Performed in the episode “The Spanish Teacher” by both Santana and guest star Ricky Martin, La Isla Bonita was a great dancing song but the two lacked passion over the obviously passionate song. Maybe its because the two arn’t supposed to have chemistry and Santana is a lesbian now and Ricky is gay in real life… but oh, well. Still a great song with awesome lasers and light shows!

24. Pure Imagination

Pure Imagination, from the Willy Wonka movie, is such a sweet song, and to have the New Directions perform it with such heart at Sue’s sisters funeral in the episode “Funeral” was just so amazing! It’s not one of the most popular songs (probably due to not being a popular episode) but it’s definitely one of the sweetest!

23. Human Nature

Tackling Michael Jackson took almost two episodes to do, but out of all the MJ songs performed the best was by far Mercedes and Sam’s soulful rendition of Human Nature in the episode “Michael”. Not only was it a powerful song the two could sing to express their feelings for each other, their voices went really well with the song too!

22. It’s Not Unusual

Blaine is by far the best singer of show which is shown in the way he gets pretty much all the male solos now, but in introduction to his more poppy and happy side instead of the Warblers (and as well as his introduction to the New Direction) he burst into a rendition of the happy go lucky It’s Not Unusual during “The Purple Piano Project”. Then the piano burst into flames…

21. Do You Wanna Touch?

I’m not a big fan of Gwyneth Paltrow, especially when she got pretty much every song in the episode “Sexy” but you gotta admit her sizzling rendition of Do You Wanna Touch spiced up the sexual education episode!

25. Don’t You Want Me Baby?

Performed by Blaine and Rachel in the episode “Blame It On The Alcohol” this awesome duet was mixed with the very interesting scenes of the New Directions alcohol fueled bender. Not only are Blaine and Rachel great singers and nail this duet, it’s so funny to see Puck wearing Lauren Zizes glasses and Tina and Mike dancing in the corner. Drunk Glee kids are GOOD Glee kids.

19. Pretending

Performed by Finn and Rachel in the episode “New York”  this song was “written” by Finn to express his newfound feelings for Rachel who for some reason decided to put up a fight for this one episode. In the heat of the song filled moment they stole a kiss that lost them Nationals but won the hearts of all the Finchel fans!

18. Time Warp

The Rocky Horror Picture Show’s iconic Time Warp is so many things on so many levels and to have it covered by the Glee kids in the Halloween special “The Rocky Horror Glee Show” was simply amazing. Sung as the characters doubled up from the show, Chris Colfer’s Kurt and Dianna Agron’s Rocky counterparts stole the show and the effort to make the somewhat tired piece come back to life was outstanding and a favorite of the shows fans.

17. Jesse’s Girl

I’m pretty sure they named Rachel’s then boyfriend Jesse St. James simply  for Finn to serenade her with with a rendition of Jesse’s girl. Sung in the episode “Laryngitis” you have to love the upbeat tempo and brazen attempt of seduction on Finn’s part – even though the Rachel getting dressed behind a curtain thing was a bit random.

16. I’m Still Standing

Performed by Quinn and Artie in the episode “Big Brother” this song is so sweet and the mix of lyrics work so well together, but it’s so insanely boppy after Quinn’s accident that you just don’t believe it.

15. Stop! In The Name of Love/ Free Your Mind

The boys of New Direction performed this mash up in the episode “Never Been Kissed” as an apology to Coach Beiste for thinking of her as a distraction from making out with the girls. It was a great song, and I guess it’s the thought that counts.

14. Singing in the Rain/ Umbrella

Another performance of Gwyneth Paltrow in the episode “The Substitute” but this mash up of the Singing in the Rain title classic and the popular Rihanna song was nailed with the  awesome dance moves in the water falling from the stage roof and pooling at the New Directions feet. It made for a remarkable and magical video!

13. We Found Love

Performed by the New Directions in the episode “Yes/No” this song was extra special because it was sung as Will’s proposal to Emma and it was also performed as a bout of synchronized swimming in the McKinly high swimming pool. Two things that weren’t as good was the fact that Will jumps in the water at the end – not really befitting for a proposal to the OCD Emma – and the fact that the girls seem very reserved in this performance, like you could tell they were told not to get their hair wet.

12. Summer Nights

Oh Grease, where would the musical genre even be without you? Performed on the very same steps that John Travolta sung the popular rendition of Summer Nights, the episode “Yes/No” saw a light being shed on the inner workings of the summer fling that was Sam and Mercedes relationship, while being the totally amazing at the same time!

11. Rumour Has It/ Somebody Like You

The Adele mash up was performed by the Troubletones in the episode “Mash Off” and was a key scene in the development of Santana’s coming out process. Not only was it a great mash up and a great performance, it was dynamic and strong and a good way to show off Santana’s strong yet emotional side.

10. Start Me Up/ Living On A Prayer

The girls of New Direction took rock to a whole new level in the episode “Mash Off”. It was nothing like we’ve ever seen the New Direction girls do before mixed with laser lights and awesome spiked leather wear – and we liked it.

9. Loser Like Me

The New Directions “wrote” this song in the episode “Original Song” for Regionals and did a great job at it. Not only was it upbeat and inspiring, they threw red glitter “slushies” on the audience in the end. Best ending ever!

8. Light Up The World

Also an “original song” Light Up The World was sung by the whole New Directions class in the episode “New York” and showcased many of the groups talents – with Brittney’s parts standing out the most. A happy go lucky bouncy song about being the light for the world you couldn’t help but walk away happy.

7. Somebody That I Used To Know

Everybody loves Gotye, and Glee knows this. Having Blaine, the best male singer in the group, sing this song was like heaven to Australian fans ears. His strong voice did the strong lyrics justice and was a blast to see. The performance of singing it to his brother was emotional and binding and probably put Gotye further on the American billboards. Loved it!

6. Stereo Hearts

Samuel Larsen’s first Glee performance since his win on The Glee Project was a long overdue and highly joyous one. Sung with Mercedes and Sam in the Valentines Day episode “Heart” it was full of love and admiration as a singing Valentine for Rachel. Not only did the group nail the awesome performance, the strong vocals helped nail the awesome song.

5. Cough Syrup

Sung by the strong voiced Blaine in the episode “On My Way” this emotional and hard song to tackle was particularly an amazing performance because it was crossed with scenes of the closeted Karoufsky being outed and attempting to commit suicide. Strong on all accounts, it was one of the best performances – and songs – of the shows’ three seasons.

4. It’s My Life/ Confessions Part 2

I think I’m a little bias when it comes to this song being landed as number four on this list because I am an absolute sucker for Bon Jovi’s classic It’s My Life. The performance by the New Direction boys in the episode “Vitamin D”  was a strong legend to carry on for the show and the fact that the boys were hopped up on Vitamin D gave the performance extra buzz and energy and made it super enjoyable to watch!

3. Dream On

Neil Patrick Harris is pretty much a God, and to have him on Glee was a real treat for NPH fans like myself. In the episode “Dream On” NPH plays Brian Ryan, a show choir reformee sent in to tear down some dreams but ends up rebuilding his own when he auditions for a stage production of Les Miserables. Battling Will for the part of Joan Val Joan the two duet Aerosmith’s Dream On and NPH NAILS IT! His voice is unmistakable and the song his sings blows Will out of the water. Go Neil Patrick Harris!

2. I Love New York/ New York, New York

Sung in the episode “New York” (duh!) by the New Directions, this mash up really shows the joy of the Glee group as they finally made it to New York for Nationals after all their hardships and fights to get there. It’s joyous, upbeat, happy, colourful and playful as the group sings and dances their way around one of the most famous cities in the world. You can’t beat their cheerfulness and it is certainly infectious!

1. Thriller/ Heads Will Roll

One of the biggest and widely anticipated performances of Glee’s entire seasons was in the midseason break returning episode “Sue Slyvester Shuffle” where the New Directions and the warring football team get together to perform an amazing half time show that was later stolen and featured in many other TV Shows (cough cough… Hellcats) because it was just that awesome. Performed by mainly Santana, Artie and Finn, the zombie dance was maybe one of the leading zombie performances that has captured zombie pop culture today. Gotta love the make up artists and the costume designers for this one just as much as the performers – everybody really gave this one their all and it paid off!

So You Wanna Look Like…Mike Chang!

If your like a certain someone I know, you might be a guy wondering what his new style could be and in a desperate attempt to get a new look; well never fear because inspiration is here!

If your a Glee fan like me you’ll know all about Mike Chang, the toe tapping Asian played by Harry Shum Jr. who has found a soul mate in the no related Tina Cohen-Chang in the hit musical TV show. Not only is Mike Chang a killer on the dance floor, he is also rocking a pretty mean style. I present to you the best way to steal his look!

1.Super Fancy Yet Oh So Casual Vest and Hat Combo!

Mike Chang’s best look by far is his super fancy but casual hat and vest combo. Basically, if you want to copy  this awesome look, get yourself a cute hat or two (page boy, gangster hat – it’s all good!) as long as it’s relatively stylish. Add a vest that you might find in the suit department (You can pick up some from Roger David – they are normally the best) and then decide if you want to go casual or fancy. If your going casual, team the vest and hat with some skinny leg jeans and a plain t-shirt that you could find at any Jay Jays store. If your going fancy, put on a white button down shirt, roll it to the  elbows and put on a pair of NICE skinny leg jeans. If you want, add a tie for some fun depending on your mood or the occasion!

The best look I’ve seen of this is during the season 3’s valentines day episode “Heart” where Mike was singing a rendition of L.O.V.E with Tina. If you can steal this look completely, you’ve hit Mike Chang gold!

2. Skinny Leg Jeans and Stretchy Sweaters

Mike Chang’s dance moves often make him look like he is made out of rubber – so a stretchy sweater only really helps in these circumstances! These kind of cardigans can be purchased from stores like Cotton On or American Apparel (I’m pretty sure he wears American Apparel in the show) for not much coin and if you go for colours that are quite fashionable like blue and rolling up the sleeves you will hit the mark.

It’s always good to match the sweaters with chinos and sneakers as this is one of Mike’s signature looks. Air Nike pumps are good dancing shoes and look rad amongst the guys while being tucked out of skinny leg jeans so you won’t loose bro points. It’s always good as well to mix up your chino colours in shades of blue, yellow, red and black and you can get any of these from any good Jay Jays store.

3. Dress Shirts

Like most guys in Glee, Mike wears his fair share of cool but manly button down dress shirts. The way to avoid making them seem like some boring business man’s attire is by funkying it up and wearing different patterns and cool colours. Mike tends to favour to tarten pattern, but wears it in quite a few different colours throughout the show including yellow, white and red. To dress the shirt down, team it with a plain Jay Jays tee underneath the shirt and wear a pair of dark denium skinny leg jeans!

Hope this gives you guys a good idea of how to dress with super dancing style – and I do mean you fiancee of mine!

Katy Canoodles at Coachella!

Many rumours have been floating around about Katy Perry since her split with funnyman Russell Brand – especially after she was spotted rebounding with a 22 year old French model named Baptiste Giabiconi while in Paris last month, but it now it seems that some rumours may actually have some merit!

Everything changes at Coachella – including Katy’s flinging relationship status’ when she was spotted kissing and canoodling with Robert Ackroyd, the guitarist from Florence and the Machine and that according to sources Katy is already calling him her boyfriend.

Quite a random choice for our favourite superstar, but we’re glad a flame isn’t fizzling for her – she needs some lurve.

Rihanna Posts Raunchy Holiday Photos on Facebook

Rihanna was in Hawaii in January on holiday and filming scenes for her latest movie Battleship and she apparently had such a great time that she just had to share it with the world!

Hawaii is an amazing place (it’s one of my favourite places in the world!) and Rihanna seemed to have an orgasmic good time – so much so that she posted raunchy photos of her holiday snaps on Facebook.

The singer posted snaps of her posing provocativly on boats and deckchairs, showing off her O face and whipping off her bikini top for the camera – all 169 of them!

There’s just something about Hawaii 🙂
